New Head Office in Whitby

The keys have been collected for our new head office in Whitby, North Yorkshire. The building is an old warehouse, the earliest record of the building being 1645. Its oldest known historic use is a sail loft, where the sails for Whitby’s fishing fleet, and possibly world-famous exploration voyages were made.

The warehouse will use the lower level as storage, large component inspection, goods inwards and goods despatch. The upper floor will consist of offices, and an inspection department.

Maylan’s dedication to quality and delivery since 1978 will be strengthened, with the premises being owned and improved for this purpose.

Regular Supply to India

Maylan starts to regularly supply India, shipping quality components and assemblies on a weekly basis. This is in addition to frequent shipments for other countries, namely Poland, Thailand and USA.
